ACSR Core Wire

The high-carbon galvanized steel wire or strands form the central core of the ACSR conductor (Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced), it supports and reinforces the cable conductor. The core steel can be a single wire or multiple strands of wire.

This product has good mechanical properties, thick zinc layer, smooth and firm, heavy plate, accurate sizing.  This product is widely used for steel core wire in power line cable, ground electrode, stay wire.

Standards

According to ASTM B498; ASTM A 475; BS 183, We produce steel wire for ACSR, increasing the corrosion resistance of steel wire by galvanizing the surface. The zinc layer we can produce are Class A grade; Class B and Class C.
Class A zinc coatings have smooth surface but are less resistant to corrosion than Class B and C, and are used in general purpose applications. Class B and C zinc coatings are highly resistant to corrosion and can be used in wet and harsh environments such as coastal areas.
In addition, we can also produce zinc aluminum alloy coating products for customers to choose.
